About this website & San Remo Beach - Mandurah WA

This web is the personal Home Page of Hans and Jacqui Stammel with information about their Home and the location at San Remo Beach by the Indian Ocean in Western Australia

Jacqui and Hans bought into this community in 2000 - purchasing one the original 'A' frame houses which were very popular in the early days of Mandurah. They were one of a few permanent residents of the area at the time. In 2008 they got around to rebuilding and adding to the original house and in process created one the largest (600sqm) land mark building on the Beach Front by the Eros Reserve.
This website will also feature image galleries of the beach, the Eros Reserve and the people who make up this small community we call San Remo Beach.

San Remo - Western Australia

The tiny suburb of San Remo is location in the northern part of Mandurah WA - ~ 75 km south of Perth CBD. It was originally developed as a holiday community with many dwellings no more than beach shacks for weekend get aways. Originally every block had it's own bore for water supply - with electricity being the 1st public utility being connected eventually. Over the years this little beach side suburb has morfed into a popular retirement area - with a certain percentage of buildings still being holiday and weekender houses - but the design and style of buildings is now much more up market.
